Digha
Digha is a seaside resort town in the state of West Bengal, India. It lies in Purba Medinipur district and at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal. It has a low gradient with a shallow sand beach. It is the most popular sea resort in West Bengal.
I love this sea beach very much and everytime I visit Digha it remind me the old memories as well as I gain the fresh memories.

As far as my memory tells I first visited Digha in the year 1987 and at that time there was nothing which is called New Digha. As I close my eyes I remember that I am standing on the sea beach with my grand father and watching the waves and many people taking bath there. Second time I visited in 1995 and that was just a one day long journey. Going in the morning and coming home at night. In 2009 I visited for the third time and now can feel more about Digha. Taking lots of photographs and now when I visit Digha I always search for the place from where I can take good photographs. In the evening people gather on the beach side having foods and there are many stalls when people are engaged in shopping. In the morning take a bath in the sea and the evening is pleasant one. If you don't like foods or engaged in shopping then simply sit on the beach and have a cup of tea it will just refresh your mind. This place Digha is just 190 kms from my home so its one of my favourite outing.
