February 15, 1564.
On this day, a child was born who would change the way humanity sees the universe forever.
Galileo Galilei was the first to turn a telescope toward the sky and truly look — discovering mountains on the Moon, the phases of Venus, and the moons of Jupiter. In doing so, he helped prove a powerful and unsettling truth: Earth is not the center of everything.
At a time when questioning the cosmos meant risking everything, Galileo chose curiosity over fear.
Every image of distant planets, every rover on Mars, every deep-space discovery we celebrate today traces back to that first brave decision to look up and ask, “What if we’re not at the center?”
Happy birthday to the father of modern astronomy.

Apollo 13 The Return That Shouldn’t Have Been Possible 🌊🛰️... After the oxygen tank explosion crippled Apollo 13, the crew relied on the Lunar Module as an emergency lifeboat and navigated a tense free-return path around the Moon to get home. The Command Module Odyssey later separated and survived a high-risk atmospheric re-entry, finally splashing down safely in the Pacific Ocean on April 17, 1970. The mission became one of NASA’s most dramatic rescues, proving the strength of mission control problem-solving and astronaut survival skills. Apollo 13 did not land on the Moon, but it remains one of the greatest successful failures in spaceflight history.

The streets of the village still give peace in the moonlit night. Every courtyard decorates a story in the light of lamps. The whole world shrinks in laughter sitting by the pond, Such a simple night reminds the heart of childhood. ❤️👍🏼 #childhood

Evolution of Deep Space Exploration 🚀
From the legendary Apollo Command Module (1972) to the cutting-edge Orion Crew Module (2026), the jump in technology and habitability is staggering.
While Apollo paved the way with a cozy 6 cubic meters for 3 astronauts, Orion is designed for the long haul. With roughly 50% more habitable volume, glass cockpit displays, and advanced life support systems, it’s built to take humanity back to the Moon and eventually toward Mars.
It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come in just over 50 years. The Artemis era is officially here!
