After nearly 37 years of shaping childhoods, the iconic Japanese anime Doraemon has quietly disappeared from regular television broadcasts, marking the end of a beloved era. The blue robotic cat from the 22nd century, who helped Nobita navigate life with futuristic gadgets and timeless lessons, has not aired since late 2025, triggering widespread nostalgia and online reactions. Fans flooded social media questioning the sudden absence, calling Doraemon a weekly ritual and emotional anchor of their growing-up years. While no official explanation has been issued, broadcast schedules confirm the show has dropped off line-ups, with films also becoming rare. Though Doraemon continues through streaming platforms and digital releases, for many viewers, the end of its traditional TV run feels like saying goodbye to a treasured piece of childhood—proof that while screens change, memories endure. #childhood

SRK Anjaam

Released in 1994, Anjaam remains one of the darkest, most unsettling films of its time, and that is entirely because Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit went places most mainstream stars simply wouldn't. Shah Rukh was terrifyingly convincing as the obsessive, entitled lover, stripping away charm to expose pure menace, making audiences uncomfortable long before grey characters became fashionable. This was not romance gone wrong, it was obsession portrayed without apology, and SRK played it with a chilling calm that still holds up. Madhuri, on the other hand, delivered one of the most powerful performances of her career, starting as warmth and vulnerability and slowly transforming into raw, ferocious strength. Her courtroom breakdown, her rage, her resilience were not just scenes, they were statements, earning her a Filmfare Award nomination and cementing her as far more than a dancing queen.

Directed by Rahul Rawail, Anjaam was brutal, emotionally draining, and ahead of its time in the way it dealt with female trauma, justice and revenge. The music added another layer to its impact, with Badi Mushkil Hai positioned around Shah Rukh's unsettling presence and obsession, and Chane Ke Khet Mein becoming instantly popular despite the film's heavy tone. Anjaam was never meant to be comfortable viewing. It was meant to disturb, provoke and stay with you, and three decades later, it still does. A film that proved mainstream cinema could be fearless when its actors were.

Remembering that childhood day when I was studying at Class VIII and watched the movie at Mitra Cinema Hall, Hatibagan, Kolkata... (Now there is no existence of this movie hall and its a shopping mall). #shahrukhkhan #srkfan #srkforever #SRK
