Constructing Jurassic Park - Climbing Fence - Here is the section of electrified fencing that was constructed for the scene in Jurassic Park when Alan Grant, Lex and Tim are climbing a perimeter fence to escape the Tyrannosaurs Rex. As you can see, it is unfinished with painting needed to be done as well as adding the intricate web of wires between the main fence wires. Steven Spielberg planned all of his shots out ahead of time to keep the budget tight and as such, only this small section was needed to be constructed to maintain the illusion of endless miles of fencing.
